The EFNS brings together international neurologists from various specialities focusing on different fields of neurology. Results of SITS-MOST
The SITS-MOST trial was designed to determine whether treatment with intravenous alteplase within 3 hours of onset of ischaemic stroke was as safe and effective in routine clinical practice as in clinical trials. Furthermore the trial compared centres with experience in the use of thrombolysis for acute ischaemic stroke with those that were inexperienced. designed to determine whether the
routine use of intravenous alteplase
within 3 hours of onset of ischaemic
stroke was as safe and effective as
reported in randomised controlled trials.
